Hemp – Baserange's hemp originates from Belgium and France. Hemp is a bast fiber and needs little help to thrive (most hemp cultivation is done with rainfall, no irrigation and no herbicides and pesticides). It is grown in rotation, nourishing the soil for other crops and takes as little as 3 months to be ready to harvest. Hemp also does not require as much water as cotton to process and can produce over double the fiber yield per hectare as cotton. The fiber is naturally UV-resistant and abosrbant and is known for its anti-bacterial, anti-mold and insulative qualities.
